Troy Gueno Art Show + MERCH – a Mildsauce Launch

Join us on Saturday, May 18 for the official opening of Troy Gueno’s photography show at Street Level, and for the official launch party of Mildsauce (Street Level’s webzine). All ages welcome; refreshments included; and DJ Johnny Price will provide the tunes!

Troy Gueno is a young Chicago photographer with an exceptional eye for composition and color. He’s taken images of many celebrities but in his personal work he goes on excursions with a film camera to find interesting compositions in the streets of Chicago, from hotels to alleys. Troy also worked with young people at Street Level earlier in the year to learn about composition and portraiture. Meet Troy and see his incredible work!

Merch! – a Mildsauce Launch

Help us officially launch our blog/zine Mildsauce! We will be celebrating the release of our latest issue, focusing on the phenomenon of branding. Should people be brands? What kind of brand are you? Design your own merchandise from buttons to t-shirts. Watch some of our videos about merchandising and even win some cool “Merch!” of your own. Plus, photographer Troy Gueno helps out with headshots and selfies.

This event is a great opportunity to see what Street Level is all about. Are you age 13-24 and interested in joining our programs? Staff will be on hand to help you out – joining is free!
